Despite its unkempt appearance, his beard is the source of his strength. It is large, unruly, and full of bits from previous meals. We beleive that FB's beard contains a dimensional door allowing for unlimited storage. Eyewitnesses have seen him stuff a whole plate of food in there.
Add the wild mop of hair and crazed glint in his eye to the unidentifialble objects in his beard and you have a strong recipe for intimidation.
Food, itchy beard. Food Beard can't pass up a chane to snack. This should make it easy to lure him into a trap. The heavy mass of his beard is far from clean. It is assumed that the lack of hygiene is the cause of Food Beard's incessant scratching.
As with many kleptomaniacs, Food Beard tends to steal trinkets with little regard for thier value. Salt shakers, silverware and other small items quickly disappear into the beard.
